Spotted that neat little info box perched on the right of the Google search THAT ISN’T A GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE?
That box is what Google calls a Knowledge Panel taking information from the knowledge graph, and it’s good for that all-important first impression.
If you haven’t already, search for your entity, scroll down, and spot ‘Claim this knowledge panel’. Google will want to verify you’re the real deal, so have a selfie with your ID and a few screenshots of your official social channels ready to go.
Once you’re verified, you get priority rights to flag anything that’s gone awry.
This is one of the primary ways which both people and AI connect information with you.
